Taking Care of Business Student Union Get your RebelCard, computer accounts, parking permit, and books all in one convenient location. |

Orientation Check-In Cox Pavillion Bring your RebelCard to check-in and receive your orientation materials. Be one of the first 2,000 students to arrive and get a Rebel Spirit bag, complete with a UNLV T-shirt and other Rebel gear. A light breakfast will be provided. |

University Welcome Cox Pavillion Join President David B. Ashley as he officially welcomes all new students and parents to UNLV and to The Rebel Connection. The Welcome will set the stage for your collegiate experience. Student Body President Adam Cronis will help you catch the Rebel spirit. |

Orientation for Your Major (College or School) Multiple Campus Locations You must attend orientation for your major within one of the nine colleges and three schools at UNLV. Learn about the unique aspects and requirements for your major, and meet with faculty, academic advisors, and current students. There will be an orientation for undeclared majors as well. |

Lunch and Tours Student Union Ballroom After meeting with faculty from your major, all students and parents head to the Student Union Ballroom for lunch. Tours will be offered to the Lied Library and the Student Recreation and Wellness Center departing at noon, 12:30, 1and 1:30 p.m. |

UNLV 101 Student Union Start your UNLV career off on the right track by attending this highly informative session. Sit back and learn about resources. Take in tips on how to succeed at UNLV, and meet other UNLV students. |

| 5:30 p.m. | Parent Reception Student Union Ballroom The Parent Reception will provide an opportunity for parents to hear from Vice President for Student Life Jaunita Fain. The brief program will focus on the university's role and our commitment to your student through the programs and services offered by the Division for Student Life. It will be a wonderful time to mingle with other parents, learn how you can get involved with Parent Programs, and get to know members of the campus community. |
